The masters course modules can be taken separately by those interested in furthering parts of their IT Service Management studies, or as a whole to move towards full certification as an IT Service Manager.

Award of the certificate is based upon achieving a 50% or greater pass mark in the two three-hour written examinations and an in-course assessment conducted in Module 3.

After obtaining the Managers Certificate in IT Service Management, participants will be skilled in:

•  Analysing an existing organization in order to manage an IT infrastructure.
  
•  Designing an organization structure in order to manage an IT infrastructure.
  
•  Defining the IT Service Management processes.
  
•  Assessing the IT Service Management processes in a given organization
  
•  Providing advice about implementing changes.
  
•  Drawing up written reports and interactive communication on using the ITIL framework in IT      service  management as a business driver.
